~ Starting Monday, January 12 at 8 a.m., the DTC Parking Garage and the Marine Parking Garage will resume normal operations. This announcement comes after the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) provided free parking in these garages to residents during hazardous weather conditions last week.

According to CBJ Parks and Recreation, as road conditions and area parking options continue to improve, the open floors of these garages are needed for their intended purpose - for downtown garage permit holders to park their vehicles. As such, drivers who have parked their cars in these garages are advised to move them by Monday at 8 a.m. Failure to do so may result in receiving parking tickets under normal parking operations.
