Kindroot launches in London with community-led design event at Farringdon London, UK — 03.02.26
TelAve News/10886985
ISLINGTON, U.K. - TelAve -- Kindroot, a new values-led kitchen and furniture collective, will officially launch on 3rd February 2026 with an intimate industry and community gathering at House of Estila, marking the start of a year focused on thoughtful design, research, and people-centred making.
Founded by a collective of designers and makers with decades of combined experience, Kindroot has been created in response to a growing need for more human, transparent and sustainable approaches to home design — particularly within the kitchen industry.
The launch event brings together collaborators, designers, researchers and community partners to celebrate not just a new brand, but a new way of working. Hosted at 66a Turnmill Street, Farringdon, the evening will introduce Kindroot's approach to kitchen and furniture design alongside the announcement of its 2026 research and community projects.
These initiatives will explore how everyday home environments — especially kitchens — can better support wellbeing, neurodivergent needs, and long-term, inclusive living. Rather than focusing solely on products, Kindroot's work centres on process: how things are designed, who gets to participate, and how homes can be shaped to support real lives. The collective combines small-batch manufacturing, repair and upcycling, inclusive employment practices, and collaborative research to build spaces that are calm, functional and deeply personal.

"Kindroot isn't about launching something loud," says founder Molly Coppard. "It's about creating something rooted — in people, in place, and in care. This event is the beginning of a longer conversation about how our homes, and the systems around them, could work better for everyone."
The Farringdon launch marks the first in a series of open conversations, partnerships and research-led projects planned throughout 2026, positioning Kindroot as both a design collective and a platform for positive change within the interiors and manufacturing sectors.
Event details Date: 3 February 2026
Location: House of Estila, 66a Turnmill Street, Farringdon, London
Type: Invitation-only launch event
