LAS VEGAS - TelAve -- Mark Satorre, a dedicated Las Vegas-based educator and self-published children's book author, is making waves in the indie publishing world with the release of his newest book: Self-Publishing Now: A Step-by-Step Guide to Publishing Your Children's Book on IngramSpark, Amazon KDP, and More.

With a growing catalog of books ranging from early chapter books, phonics-based readers, and Tagalog/Visayan language titles, Mark is now turning his focus to helping other aspiring authors bring their own stories to life.

Originally from the Philippines, Mark moved to the U.S. in 2008 and settled in Las Vegas in 2014. He has since dedicated over 14 years to the field of special education and currently teaches at a charter school in Henderson, Nevada. His passion for literacy and storytelling inspired him to write books that connect deeply with young readers—stories filled with inspiration, encouragement, and cultural pride.

In May 2024, Mark launched his own publishing company, Kids Reading Adventures, LLC, with a mission to not only publish high-quality children's literature but also support indie authors through the self-publishing process. The company offers publishing services and mentorship tailored specifically for children's book creators.

"Self-publishing changed my life," Mark shares. "I wanted to create a clear, practical guide to help others—especially fellow educators, parents, and creatives—confidently publish their own stories for young readers."

His new guidebook walks readers through every step of the publishing journey, from manuscript to marketing, covering platforms like Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. Whether you're writing picture books, early readers, or bilingual books, Mark's advice is rooted in real experience and genuine passion.

Mark was recently featured on PHL Radio Las Vegas with host Edelweis Solano, where he discussed his growing book catalog and his recently published bilingual cookbook, Let's Cook Filipino!, aimed at introducing young readers to Filipino culture and cuisine through language and storytelling.
