ALAMOGORDO, N.M. - TelAve -- Comedian Marc Yaffee comes to Alamogordo on Friday, May 1 at 8 PM for a show at Johnny Carino's. Yaffee, a co-star of the special Goin' Native, received Best of the Fest honors at the 2022 Burbank Comedy Festival and was named by IllumiNatives as one of the 25 Indigenous comedians to watch.

"I'm excited to come to Alamogordo," says Yaffee. "New Mexico audiences are always fun and ready to laugh." Yaffee has toured nationally and performed overseas, including six Armed Forces Entertainment tours for U.S. military personnel. He may be the only comedian with air, land, and sea credits—having entertained Alaska Airlines passengers at 30,000 feet and performed for thousands on Carnival, Princess, and Holland America cruise lines. He has performed in 43 states and 11 countries.

Yaffee has two Dry Bar Comedy specials and has also appeared on Amazon Prime, PBS, and Comics Unleashed. Tom Horgen of the Minneapolis Star Tribune wrote, "Tore the house down" when describing Yaffee's show. Also appearing on the show is New Mexico favorite Carlos Catoreno.
