SALEM, Ore. - TelAve -- Car enthusiasts, mark your calendars for MAG Auction's upcoming premier collector car auction at the Salem State Fair and Expo Center on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9, 2026.  As the largest auction of its kind in the greater Northwest area, hundreds of cars will be auctioned, including muscle cars, street rods, classic cars, vintage cars, and vintage memorabilia.

The auction is open to the public, to car aficionados, to those looking to add to their collections, or to anyone looking to experience a live, energetic auction event.  Everyone is welcome, with tickets ($10) available at the door (kids 12 and under free).

MAG Auctions (Motorsport Auction Group) has been presenting collector car auctions since 2015, including their flagship auction held annually in Reno, Nevada during the hugely popular "Hot August Nights" classic car event.  MAG Auctions will be in Reno August 6-8, 2026.

This year marks the third time that MAG is presenting an auction in Salem.   "I've always wanted to do an auction in the Northwest, which is my backyard," says MAG Owner/Director Mike Oberle who lives near Medford, Oregon.  "With so many great cars clubs and collectors in the area, Salem is an ideal venue for what we do.  And now in our third year, its becoming a much anticipated annual event that everyone looks forward to."
