LAS VEGAS - TelAve -- Nosey Cards started with two dogs who have never respected a private moment in their lives.

Duke and Duchess consider closed doors suspicious, whispered conversations an invitation, and anything brought into the house subject to immediate inspection. They know when you've eaten without them, when a package has arrived, and, somehow, when you've been fraternizing with another dog.

They're not being nosey. They just need all the information.

Somewhere along the way, we realized they had accidentally named the company.

The name stuck. So did the idea that the best things are the ones that feel unmistakably personal. That's what turns a card into their card.

So we built Nosey Cards to turn the people, pets, inside jokes, and wonderfully specific moments in your camera roll into something worth sending.

A Little AI. A Lot of Human Meddling.

Nosey Cards uses AI to help turn photos into custom illustrated characters and the stories behind them into personalized card copy. But the technology is only part of it.

The illustration style, writing, humor, prompts, and creative rules behind Nosey Cards were built, tested, adjusted, and tested again by an actual human. AI does some of the heavy lifting. The personality is very much on purpose.

Customers upload a photo and tell Nosey Cards what it's about. From there, they get a custom illustrated character and three personalized card messages to choose from. Pick a favorite, tweak it if needed, and that very specific moment in your camera roll becomes a card.

"The best cards are the ones that feel like they could only have been made for one person," said Rachel Michele, founder of Nosey Cards. "I wanted to create something that starts with the photos, stories, and inside jokes people already have and turns them into something worth sending."

Nosey Cards can be made for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, celebrations, inside jokes, thinking-of-you moments, or absolutely no reason at all.

Finished cards can be downloaded and shared by text or email, printed at home, or sent directly through Nosey Cards.

Duke and Duchess naturally take credit for the entire operation. Their actual contributions are difficult to measure, unless inspecting every photo and generally knowing everyone's business counts as work.

But they gave Nosey Cards its name, its personality, and a pretty good reason to take life a little less seriously.

Because sometimes, making someone smile is reason enough to send a card.
