Mesa Aquatics Offering Lots of Late Summer and Fall Activities

~ As the summer season comes to an end and school is back in session, City Public Pools have closed for daily public swimming. However, Mesa Aquatics is offering a variety of engaging and healthy pool events and activities in the coming weeks.
One of the upcoming events is the Dive-In Movie at Brimhall Aquatic Complex on Saturday, August 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees can lounge in the pool while enjoying Disney's "Brave" on an inflatable screen under the stars. Tubes will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and admission is $7. It is recommended to pre-register for this event.
For those looking to continue their weekend swimming routine, Skyline Aquatic Center and Rhodes Aquatic Complex will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays until August 31st.
Mesa Aquatics also offers an Adaptive Sports program for individuals with developmental disabilities ages 6 and up, including an Adaptive Swim Team.

Lap swim sessions are available for ages 13 and up at Kino Aquatic Center and Skyline Aquatic Center. Fall lap passes are currently discounted to $90 for individuals (regularly $120) and $56 for seniors (regularly $75) through August 21st.
Water aerobics classes are also available for ages 13 and up at Kino Aquatic Center and Skyline Aquatic Center.
For those looking for a unique experience, Mesa Aquatic Complex offers River Walking for ages 13 and up, as well as Flow League at Rhodes Aquatic Complex for ages 10 and up. The Flow League has beginner leagues for ages 10+ as well as intermediate and advanced leagues for ages 13+. These activities will be available in August, September, and October.

There will be two separate sessions, Afternoon Harvest from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Fright Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $7 and includes a pumpkin, but pre-registration is required.
