~ Mesa, AZ - The City of Mesa Office of Economic Development has announced the promotion of Hayley Freestone to the position of Economic Development Project Manager. This news comes after Hayley's successful nine-month tenure as an Economic Development Specialist, where she made significant contributions to the city's business development efforts.
During her time as a specialist, Hayley played a crucial role in responding to new project leads and working closely with Mesa's Development Services Department. She also collaborated with economic development partners at the city, regional, and state levels, and was instrumental in advancing the city's retail recruitment initiatives.
In her new role, Hayley will take on more responsibility by leading high-impact projects that support business attraction and expansion. She will also work towards activating key commercial areas, strengthening public-private partnerships, and contributing to a vibrant and competitive local economy.
