VANCOUVER, British Columbia - TelAve -- Meteor Software Limited Partnership ("Meteor") announced today that Frederico ("Fred") Arantes has been promoted to CEO of the company. The former firm CTO had been serving in a dual capacity as both interim CEO and lead company technologist since the departure of his predecessor in April this year.

Arantes's hands-on approach with Meteor's businesses has earned him the respect of Tiny Capital, the company's owner. "Fred has demonstrated he has the ability, the vision, and the confidence of his team to lead Meteor," said former CEO of Meteor Andrew Dumont. "We believe he is the right person for the job."

Arantes brings many years of experience teaching and building software at Requisito Tecnologia, ITSS Tecnologia, Petrobras, Grupo Alura and Equifax. In addition to deep technical experience he has led teams at Pathable, TecSinapse, and Meteor. In 2019, he co-founder Clubien, an Irish tech startup created to booking professional in-home beauty services, where he served as CEO successfully hiring for key positions, closing sales on about 200 service agreements, and forming strategic partnerships with facilities providers.

Arantes attended SENAI Fatesg College in Goiânia, Brazil where he earned a Technology Degree with a focus on Computer Networks and Information Technology.
