"Mobile Suit Gundam" Takes Over San Diego Comic-Con 2025

LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2025 ~ Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. has revealed its plans for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), one of the largest pop culture and entertainment conventions in the world. The event, which will take place from July 24 to July 27, 2025 in San Diego, USA, will feature a variety of Gundam-related activities.

At Booth #3829, Bandai Hobby will be showcasing a special display to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Fans can expect to see an array of exclusive merchandise and get up close to a statue of the iconic Wing Gundam.

In addition to this, Bandai Namco Filmworks will be hosting a panel titled "GUNDAM Showcase – Featuring 30 Years of Gundam Wing" on Thursday, July 24. The panel will feature updates on the Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Project as well as news from other projects within the Gundam series.

Attendees can also look forward to exclusive gifts that will be announced at a later date.

The "GUNDAM Showcase – Featuring 30 Years of Gundam Wing" panel will include special guests such as Mark Hildreth, English voice actor for Heero Yuy; Scott McNeil, English voice actor for Duo Maxwell; and Brad Swaile, English voice actor for Quatre Raberba Winner in "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing." Fans are invited to attend for the latest updates on the "Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary" project and other exciting news related to Gundam.

The panel is scheduled for Thursday, July 24 at 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM (Japan Time: 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM on July 25) in Room 6BCF. Along with the guest speakers mentioned above, Naohiro Ogata, Gundam Executive Producer, will also be present.

To add to the excitement, exclusive gifts will be available for those attending the panel. More details will be announced soon, so fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" and its presence at San Diego Comic-Con, the opening and ending movies, "JUST COMMUNICATION" and "It's Just Love!" have been released. Fans can watch the clean versions of these iconic songs on YouTube.
