WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - TelAve -- West Palm Beach, FL (July 2, 2025) – Mounts Botanical Garden will co-present with The Orchid Society of the Palm Beaches a daylong ORCHID SYMPOSIUM on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Scheduled for 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Mounts, this Journey through the Jewels of the Orchid World will include an orchid sale, two live orchid auctions, five presentations by orchid specialists, and more.

Whether you're a seasoned orchid aficionado or interested in learning more,ORCHID SYMPOSIUM 2025 promises to be a full day of inspiration, education, and memorable experiences. Participants will gain insider knowledge on everything from the secrets of specific orchid genera to cutting-edge conservation efforts, and foolproof culture techniques.

• 9:50 am – Brazilian Cattleya Species & Groups, presented by expert and author Francisco Miranda, owner of Miranda's Orchids.
• 10:40 am – Live Orchid Auction
• 11:10 am – Enhance Your Orchid Growing with the Proper Materials, presented by Hyla Levine, owner of Green Barn Orchid Supplies in Delray Beach.
• 12:00 pm – Lunch & Social
• 1:00 pm – The Genius Habenaria, presented by Keith & Dina Emig, who have received more than 45 American Orchid Society awards.
• 1:50 pm – Live Orchid Auction
• 2:20 pm – Encyclia Hybrids, presented by Jim Roberts, who grows orchids in three gutter-connected greenhouses with 10,000 square feet of growing space near Sarasota
