SAN FRANCISCO - TelAve -- Netberg announced the new Aurora 721 100G and Aurora 421 10G switches, which feature programmable pipelines powered by Broadcom StrataXGS® Trident3 Ethernet switch chips.

The Aurora 421 is a multirole 10G switch with 48x 10G SFP+ and 6x 100G QSFP28 ports. Its heart is Broadcom® StrataXGS® Trident3-X5 BCM56771 silicon, which brings bandwidth, network intelligence, and programmability to the 10G world.

The Aurora 721 is a 100GbE universal switch with 32x 100G QSFP28 ports and Broadcoam® StrataXGS® Trident3-X7 BCM56870 silicon. It offers novel overlays, instrumentation and telemetry, and pipeline programmability.

Its programmable pipeline allows new features to be added after deployment through in-field upgrades, protecting operators' capex investment.
