New Book By Cold Case Expert Exposes Secrecy within Law Enforcement
TelAve News/10631894
Who Took Molly Bish? underscores need for police accountability and transparency on 20th anniversary of Molly's abduction
SEATTLE - TelAve -- AlyBlue Media announces the release of a compelling new book by forensic consultant and behavioral expert Dr. Sarah L. Stein.
Who Took Molly Bish? exposes a hidden challenge between families seeking answers and the secretive society of law enforcement. It also reveals how such secrecy interrupted due diligence during Stein's examination of the abduction and murder of 16-year-old Molly Bish from her lifeguard post at Comins Pond in Warren, Massachusetts, on June 27, 2000.
The first in Stein's When Criminal Justice Fails series about the shortcomings of the criminal justice system, Who Took Molly Bish? narrates her journey as a consultant on behalf of Molly's family, and includes real photos and case notes. In poignant detail, Stein takes readers behind the scenes of one of the nation's most riveting cases, reveals the suspect who she believes was responsible for Molly's abduction and murder, and, in doing so, exposes the secrecy of the district attorney's office and law enforcement in Massachusetts. Stein's husband, John "Jack" W. Drawec, Esq., drew upon a 25-year career in law enforcement to contribute the book's foreword and afterword.

Her skill for investigative preciseness is recognized around the globe.
Trained by the best forensic minds in the country, Stein has taught law enforcement, forensic science, and criminal justice students both domestically and internationally, presented at over 15 conferences, coauthored two books on cold case investigation methodology, and has written numerous articles on cold case investigations. In 2014, she was recognized as an award recipient of the Missing Children's Day ceremony in Massachusetts for her efforts. Now serving as a national consultant with law enforcement, Stein co-founded The Center for the Resolution of Unresolved Crime to help families navigate a flawed justice system and offer continued education and case consultations for law enforcement.
