TelAve News/10884707
MACOMB, Mich. - TelAve -- Before you agree to risky back or disc surgery you may be able to prevent back and disc surgery at Macomb Township Chiropractic.
Chiropractic is one of the best alternatives to back and disc surgeries. It's non-evasive, medication free, you have a faster recovery time, and there is no risk of complications that can occur with surgery or anesthesia. Macomb Township Chiropractic regularly treats patients who were told they need surgery, and were able to help them avoid the surgery, and correct the problems that had been causing them their pain.
Candidates for back and disc surgery usually have chronic, persistent pain, numbness or weakness in their legs, difficulty walking and performing daily activities, herniated or bulging discs and severely pinched nerves. Many complications that can arise from back or disc surgery ranging from general anesthesia, surgical infection, bleeding, and blood clots. On top of that, permanent nerve damage, weakness, paralysis, spinal fluid leaks, hardware failure, and persistent pain are also possible.

Dr. Chris McNeil, at Macomb Township Chiropractic has successfully helped many of his patients avoid back and disc surgery. Dr. Chris said that many of the same conditions doctors recommend surgery for "can be successfully treated with Chiropractic." It is perfect for treating and overcoming pinched nerves, disc bulges, and back and disc pain in general. Macomb Township Chiropractic also has state-of-the art equipment and treatments geared to preventing surgery, such as their disc decompression machine, which gently relieves pinched nerves and quickly helps slipped discs back into place.
Dr. Chris spoke of a patient of his who successfully avoided risky back surgery at a young age. Jacob, 29 years old, was in a car accident and suffered disc herniation and was experiencing extreme debilitating back pain and sciatica that was keeping him mostly bed-bound. His orthopedic surgeon recommended surgery as soon as possible. Jacob decided to try one last option before surgery, and went to Macomb Twp Chiropractic. Digital x-rays showed multiple areas in his spine that were misaligned, causing disc bulges and herniation's, that were pinching on many of the nerves in his back and leg. Jacob was put on a care plan which included regular chiropractic adjustments, disc decompression therapy, postural rehabilitation (to correct the shape of the spine), and muscle and nerve gun therapy. After just six short weeks, Jacobs new x-rays showed great improvement, and he stated on his re-exam form he felt "totally better" in almost all areas. Four months later, Jacob was no longer a candidate for spinal surgery, and he told Dr. Chris he "actually feels stronger today than before his accident." Jacob recorded a video testimonial on YouTube detailing how he was able to prevent back and disc surgery at Macomb Township Chiropractic.
