Retired Middle-School Teacher and Acclaimed Graphic Designer Team Up to Solve the Universal Mystery of Missing Laundry.
PITTSBURGH - TelAve -- Every household faces the ultimate domestic mystery: where do all the missing socks go? Pittsburgh-based Christina Caragein and Francis Cleetus have finally taken on the case in their delightful new children's book, The Sock Sleuth. Combining laugh-out-loud humor with striking visual storytelling, the book follows a clever young girl who decides she has had enough and hires an unlikely ally, a meticulous sloth detective, to track down the culprit.
The Sock Sleuth takes young readers and their parents on a low-speed investigation through the house. Together, the duo interrogates usual suspects like the washing machine and clothes dryer, and peers into the dark depths of the laundry hamper. It's a heartwarming, imaginative tale that turns a mundane chore into a grand adventure, celebrating curiosity and the joy of solving everyday mysteries.
