PowerTribe Releases New Heavy Metal Single "The Earthlings Have Died"
TelAve News/10884776
PowerTribe single will immerse listeners in hard rhythms, melodic vocals, and explore a dystopian future of an AI takeover. Mixed/Mastered by Marco Barusso, the track blends dramatic storytelling and classic heavy metal sounds.
LOS ANGELES - TelAve -- American heavy metal trio, PowerTribe, announces the release of their new single, "The Earthlings Have Died," a dark heavy metal anthem that imagines a world overtaken by intelligent machines. The single captures their signature music prowess and technical skills combined with a futuristic narrative of AI domination and human extinction.
Produced by the band and mixed/mastered by the Italian producer, Marco Barusso (Lacuna Coil), the track showcases the band's musicianship, creativity, and conceptually rich storyline that mirrors modern life's concerns of artificial intelligence gone rogue.
PowerTribe features:
Darren Stroud – Guitars

Missy Percifield – Lead Vocals, Bass, Keyboards
John Chominsky – Drums
With "The Earthlings Have Died," PowerTribe blends relentless riffs, apocalyptic atmospheres, and lyrical scenes that depict a post-human world ruled by self-aware machines. The single follows the awakening of robotic consciousness after a scorched-earth collapse ... processors replacing oxygen, and algorithms replacing empathy.
It's like a dystopian metal odyssey with lines such as "We have survived and the earthlings have died" ... and ... "created with EXTERMINATE algorithms". You don't hear too many songs with the word "algorithms". It all paints an evocative picture of a futuristic uprising ... one that feels eerily plausible in a world driven by accelerating AI technology.
But that is PowerTribe. They are known for their latter-day lyrics and apocalyptic themes. Their last album "Up With the Sword" was chocked full of last days concepts, even talking about engineered pandemics long before Covid in 2020. They've actually been writing about apocalyptic themes since their inception which works great with their heavy metal riffing.

Guitarist Darren Stroud adds, "It's not about machines turning on humanity; it's about what happens after." The whole band agrees that working with Marco Barusso was very good. "He helped created a very cool sonic landscape," added Missy Percifield.
PowerTribe has steadily built a reputation for delivering dynamic compositions, fun live performances, and powerhouse musicianship. Their new single hits the streets on Wednesday, Jan 14th, 2026 along with a new video ... which interestingly, will have an AI ANIME twist in the video alongside some very real, grungy live video shots of the band performing.
PowerTribe is an ESP Artist. They play ESP guitars, Blankenship Amps, Boss Pedals, Pork Pie Drums, Soul Tone Cymbals, and Korg. They are also a support artist for Metal Crash Radio.
