Premier Mobile Health Services receives $20,000 grant from Bank of America Foundation

TelAve News/10867902
FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- Premier Mobile Health Services is expanding its Resilient Care Connect Program after receiving a $20,000 grant from the Bank of America Foundation.

Resilient Care Connect supports the targeted expansion of cancer and preventative health screenings among diverse women and families impacted by hurricanes Milton and Helene in 2024.

This includes mammograms and breast cancer screening; cervical cancer screening, including pap tests for HPV and other screenings including bone density tests for women over the age of 65; blood pressure and sugar tests; skin cancer exams; HIV/STI testing and mental health screenings.

Funding provided by the Bank of America Foundation will support operational capacity expansion, clinical diagnostics, medical supplies and portions of staff salaries to support the expanded effort and distribution of health education materials.

Premier Mobile Health Services will send its preventative and specialty care clinic to hard-to-reach communities, including rural areas of Southwest Florida, that have historically lacked easy access to health care.
