The 'Hidden Treasures' catalog, now under the ownership of Prymax, consists of over 1,600 gospel, R&B, and blues songs from household names Ike & Tina Turner, Willie Nelson, Albertina Walker, Bobby Rush, and Lightnin' Hopkins as well as speeches recorded by slain human rights activist Malcolm X. These recordings, some of which were previously unreleased, are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the music industry.

NEW YORK - TelAve -- Prymax Media & Technology Group has made a monumental move in the music industry by securing the rights to what can only be described as 'Hidden Treasures,' The Stan Lewis catalog. This acquisition, a rare and precious find, includes decades worth of titles of released and unreleased recordings from legendary artists such as Ike & Tina Turner, Albertina Walker, Willie Nelson, Shirley Caesar, Dorothy Norwood, Jimmy Reed, Bobby Rush, John Lee Hooker and the recordings of the activist and global icon Malcolm X.

In addtion to those mentioned, the song titles now under new ownership are "Judy in Disguise," the 1967 No. 1 hit by John Fred and the Playboys; "I Feel Good" by John Lee Hooker; "Knock on Wood" by Ike & Tina Turner; and "A Message for You" by Curtis Mayfield. Beyond fully finished tracks, the catalog cache includes rare studio sessions and alternate takes.

About Stan Lewis:

Stan, the Man, the hip hit record man, as described by blues artist Samuel John "Lightnin'" Hopkins on some of his recordings, was an integral part of blues and R&B music. Lewis initially formed Jewel Records in his hometown, Shreveport, La., in 1963. According to folklore, he named his company after a chain of grocery stores in Chicago, which music buffs noticed getting screentime in one of the car chases in the film, "The Blues Brothers." Lewis was born on July 5, 1927, and died on July 15, 2018.
