TUCSON, Ariz. - TelAve -- Quixotic Raindrop Software Announces Release Candidate Beta for StudiFoca, an iOS Coursework Manager Designed for Neurodivergent College Students

Version 1.0 Feature-Complete; Public Beta Testing Now Open on Apple TestFlight

Tucson, AZ, May 2026 — Quixotic Raindrop Software today announced the release candidate for StudiFoca, an iOS application designed from the ground up to help neurodivergent college students manage coursework. Version 1.0 is feature-complete and available for public beta testing through Apple's TestFlight platform.

StudiFoca addresses a gap that affects a significant portion of the college student population: the assumption, embedded in most productivity and planning software, that users experience time, energy, and workload in neurotypical ways. The application is built specifically for students with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and related conditions, with design decisions grounded in peer-reviewed research on sustained attention, ADHD-related time blindness, and workload distribution.

Key features of StudiFoca 1.0 include:

Workload heat map. A priority-weighted visual calendar that distributes study sessions across available days, making the shape of the semester immediately visible before workload concentrates into a crisis.

Assignment step breakdown. Structured task decomposition with focus block estimates, informed by research on how long neurodivergent students can sustain productive attention and how many sessions different assignment types typically require.

Tiered notification system. User-configurable lead times and escalating reminders that inform without overwhelming, designed to support rather than shame.

Time-blindness aids. Deadline visibility across Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets, iCloud Calendar and Reminders sync, and a full-term workload heat map that surfaces upcoming pressure points weeks in advance.

PDF syllabus import via Apple Intelligence. On-device extraction of course structure from PDF syllabi using Apple's Foundation Models framework. No data leaves the device.

StudiFoca is a free download with a genuinely functional free tier supporting one term and two courses. A one-time $5.99 Full Load upgrade removes those limits. There is no subscription.

"Most productivity apps assume a neurotypical workflow, leaving neurodivergent students to either brute-force their way through or fall behind," said Bacil Donovan Warren, developer of StudiFoca. "Every design decision in StudiFoca starts from the premise that the student's brain works differently—and that's not a deficiency to work around, it's a constraint to design for."

The application's design is documented at https://www.quixoticraindrop.com/software/, including a sources page citing the peer-reviewed research that informed specific features.

Neurodivergent college students interested in participating in the beta can join via Apple TestFlight at https://testflight.apple.com/join/kuEQXn9D. StudiFoca version 1.0 is expected to be submitted to the App Store in late July 2026.
