NEW YORK - TelAve -- Rev. Delores McKoy received a Professional Recognition and Endorsement for her expertise in Strategic Leadership and Education on September 22 during the Africana Women's Working Group session at the United Nations in New York.

The recognition was presented by Word of Life Christian Fellowship, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), in association with CICA International University & Seminary.

McKoy was also appointed Commander of The Most Excellent Order of International Experts (COIE), allowing her to use the designation COIE after her name.

"I receive this honor with gratitude and a renewed commitment to serve," said Rev. McKoy. "Education and leadership can open doors for women and young people."

McKoy serves as Program Director of the Heart of Tabitha Foundation and Director of Business Development, International Partnership, with the African Ambassadors' Economic Forum (AAEForum).

Her work focuses on education, mentorship, leadership development, and creating opportunities for women and young people to grow, lead, and make a positive impact in their communities.
