COLUMBUS, Ohio - TelAve -- Rise & Rally: Her Legacy Invitational to Empower and Unite Young Female Athletes at Inaugural Volleyball Event

MOUNT VERNON, OH – September 9, 2025 – Central Ohio is set to host the inaugural Rise & Rally: Her Legacy Invitational, a groundbreaking celebration of girls' volleyball. On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Ariel Arena at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) will welcome 22 teams of young athletes from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, aiming to inspire, connect, and honor the legacy of girls' volleyball.

With the tagline, "Where Her Game Inspires, Her Team Unites, and Her Legacy Begins," the Invitational embodies unity, empowerment, and lasting impact. Girls aged 8 to 18 from schools like Mount Vernon High School, St. Francis DeSales, Teays Valley, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Mary (Delaware), and All Saints will compete in league matches, showcasing their athleticism and dedication.

This pioneering event is made possible by local businesses such as Atlas Health & Wellness, Marion Endodontics, Dugan Energy, Ariel Corporation, and Cedar & Lace Boutique, who have contributed through swag bag donations, complimentary lunches, and desserts, highlighting the power of community collaboration.

A key feature of the day will be the FREE youth volleyball clinics led by the MVNU Women's Volleyball team. These sessions, for 5th/6th graders at 11:30 AM and 7th/8th graders at 12:30 PM, offer young players a unique chance to hone skills and draw inspiration from collegiate athletes. The MVNU Women's Volleyball team will also serve as line judges and down officials, acting as role models for aspiring players.

The Rise & Rally Invitational is also a crucial fundraiser for the MVNU Women's Volleyball Program and Diocesan school volleyball programs. Proceeds will help provide essential resources, fostering growth and opportunity for girls' volleyball in Central Ohio.
