Rotary District 7475 Installs New Leadership to Build on Growth and Create Lasting Impact

Joseph Nastus begins his term as District Governor as Rotary District 7475 celebrates membership growth, award-winning public image, and a bold vision for serving communities across New Jersey.
BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - TelAve -- Rotary District 7475 officially ushered in a new year of leadership Tuesday evening as Joseph Nastus was installed as District Governor, Kalpana Patel as District Governor-Elect, and Kirti Reddy as District Governor Nominee during the district's annual Installation Dinner. The celebration marked both a transition of leadership and a celebration of one of the district's most successful years in recent history.
Addressing Rotarians from across northern and central New Jersey, Nastus challenged members to embrace Rotary International's theme, Create Lasting Impact, by focusing on consistent service rather than extraordinary moments.
"Extraordinary outcomes are almost always the compound interest of ordinary discipline," Nastus said.
Patel emphasized that the year ahead presents an opportunity to deepen collaboration and strengthen Rotary's visibility.
"The coming Rotary year is an opportunity to collaborate more closely, showcase the incredible work of Rotary, and inspire our communities through meaningful service and fellowship," Patel said.

Reddy encouraged members to unite around Rotary's mission.
"If we all join hands and work together and give better than our best, we can surely create lasting impact and make the world a better place," Reddy said.
The installation followed a year of measurable accomplishments under Immediate Past District Governor Bob Law. During his remarks, Law reflected on District 7475's first net membership growth since 2010, expanded youth leadership initiatives through RYLA, Interact and the Japanese Youth Exchange Program, and increased engagement across the district.
"Our progress proved that growth is possible when clubs focus on leadership, retention, innovation and being visible in the communities they serve," Law said. "This was a team effort, and the foundation is now in place for District 7475 to keep moving forward."
Another highlight of the evening was the recognition of District 7475's communications achievements. Law announced that the district had received the Best Public Image Campaign award for its Rotary Zone and credited District Public Image Chair Anna D. Banks with leading the effort.
"Rotary clubs are changing lives every day, but people cannot support, join or celebrate work they never see," Banks said. "This year, we will help every club tell its story with authenticity, consistency and impact because every club has a story worth sharing."

Building on that momentum, District 7475 officially launched its year-long public image initiative, Making Rotary Impossible to Ignore, encouraging every club to participate in the One Story • One Photo • One Impact challenge. The campaign will provide clubs with storytelling resources, graphics, training and practical tools to increase community engagement, strengthen membership efforts and highlight Rotary's service throughout New Jersey.
Rotary District 7475 supports clubs across northern and central New Jersey whose members improve lives through youth development, education, public health, environmental stewardship, economic development and humanitarian service.
