Santa Pix Mobile App Saves Christmas with Parent-Friendly Click and Pic Format
TelAve News/10656773
Two moms and professional photographers have developed the Santa Pix App, allowing anyone to take a photo from their phone, and the app will cut it out and add it to a professionally designed Santa or holiday-themed background.
CINCINNATI & WALKERTON, Ontario - TelAve -- Santa has arrived on your phone! Santa Pix is a photo editing mobile app created out of demand and in time to save 2020 holiday photos from Covid-19 challenges. With over 100 Christmas and holiday backgrounds, including a Black and Caucasian Santa, parents everywhere are able to still preserve the tradition of a holiday family photo without leaving the house. The Santa Pix app allows families to share the joy by simply using a picture from their phone to easily create an amazing photo with a few clicks.
"Tara Mapes and I have been creating custom Christmas backdrops for the past three years, with over 40 000 people and businesses using the wonderful backgrounds we have created. With Covid-19 changing how our culture participates in Christmas this year, we thought this is a great time to launch the app. We want proud parents to still have professional holiday photos but without the danger of going to the mall for a family photo or trying to figure out a complicated Photoshop app. We make it easy for parents to use a photo from their phone and then add it to one of our beautiful and clever backdrops," said Samantha Easton, co-founder.

Santa Pix is available for Android and Apple devices and is available on November 20th. The app allows families to obtain a professional holiday photo within minutes. Samantha Easton and her business partner, Tara Mapes, are both professional photographers and designers- as well as being full-time moms. They both have created holiday backgrounds that capture popular feelings associated with the Christmas season.
"We want people to still document their family holidays without the worry of social distancing or even a financial component. It's this simple and the quality of the backgrounds are fiercely festive," finished Mapes.
The photos created by Santa Pix can be used for low-resolution printing for holiday cards or to be sent as a text or even as a high-quality social media post. The possibilities are endless! The app is free with no advertisements and has hundreds of magical backgrounds available for purchase individually or in bundles.
