Save the Date for Celebrate Mesa April 11

Mesa's family ~ Mesa's Pioneer Park will be transformed into a family-friendly spring party on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as the city hosts its annual Celebrate Mesa event. This year's theme is Spring Fling and it promises to offer free fun activities for people of all ages.
The event, organized by the City of Mesa, Mesa Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, and Mesa Recycles, aims to bring the community together for a day of celebration and entertainment. Attendees can expect a variety of activities including Read on Mesa's Literacy Lane, which celebrates literacy and community.
Special guests will be conducting readings throughout the day and attendees can also connect with free literacy programs and resources. Those interested in becoming members of the Mesa Library can sign up for a library card at the event.

In addition to promoting literacy, Celebrate Mesa also celebrates Earth Day with its Living Green Village. Exhibitors will be offering expertise on tree planting, composting, recycling, and energy efficiency incentives. The Mesa Arts Center's MABEL (Mobile Art Based Engagement Lab) will also be present at the village.
Families can look forward to food vendors, live music, a petting zoo, tot spot, bounce houses, archery, FREE carnival rides, playgrounds, Water Wall, splash pad and more! The event will also feature City departments with information and displays.
Celebrate Mesa is made possible by generous sponsors such as Google Fiber, VCA Mesa Animal Hospital, Semper Fi Heating & Cooling, SRP (Salt River Project), Power Home Remodeling Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), Mesa Academy of Math & Science AARP Arizona and Bezos Academy.
