UCLA Film School Professor Emeritus brings a live 12-hour edition of The Power of Film to the Mexican Riviera sailing; faculty lineup pairs craft rigor with industry access.
LOS ANGELES - TelAve -- Screenwriting Cruise, a premium, weeklong screenwriting workshop and story lab staged aboard The Navigator of the Seas, today announced that legendary educator Howard Suber, Ph.D. (UCLA Film School Professor Emeritus; creator of the six-part series The Power of Film) will join the program alongside Emmy-winning writer-producer Bryan Cogman (Game of Thrones), festival strategist, author/filmmaker Jon Fitzgerald, Adjunct Professor of Screenwriting in the UCLA Professional Program Wendall Thomas and Brian Patrick Fagan (Director, Professional Programs, UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television; author of Griggumlund). The inaugural sailing runs Feb 6-12th, round-trip from Los Angeles with calls in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Additional mentors and industry guests will be announced.
