Smyth-Boston Earns SGP Re-Certification, Reinforcing Long-Term Sustainability Commitment

TelAve News/10866530
WILMINGTON, Mass. - TelAve -- Smyth Companies, LLC (Smyth) has officially renewed the certification at its Boston facility with the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP). This step reaffirms Smyth's commitment to responsible printing both socially and environmentally. It also reflects years of ongoing efforts to reduce waste, optimize energy use, and model sustainable leadership in the label and packaging industry in general.

Smyth-Boston first earned its SGP certification in 2020. Since then, the team has implemented several impactful initiatives. At the production level, one such initiative includes a recycling program that keeps foil out of the landfill. Employees have also engaged in facility-wide energy reduction efforts, such as adjusting lighting usage and operational scheduling to maximize efficiency without sacrificing quality.
