BOERNE, Texas - TelAve -- BOERNE, Texas — Patriot Soil Solutions USA today spotlighted Soil Quench Hydration Sticks, the lead product in its wholesale line for nurseries and lawn and garden retailers. Built on AquaLoch technology, Soil Quench uses a cellulose hydrogel that stores moisture in the soil and releases it back to plant roots between waterings, saving 30 to 50 percent of your water irrigation.

Each Soil Quench package pairs the hydration sticks with the Soil Strike stim pack, giving gardeners a two-part system: water storage in the root zone plus biological activation for establishing plants. The company positions the product for the conditions Texas gardeners know best — long dry stretches, high heat, and soils that drain too fast or bake too hard to hold moisture on their own. Fewer, deeper waterings mean less runoff, less waste, and less time dragging a hose, the company said.

The company states Soil Quench is completely safe for kids, pets, livestock, and groundwater — a point the company said matters to the family gardeners who make up a large share of a garden center's customer base. Because the hydrogel is cellulose-based, retailers can explain it simply at the shelf: it behaves like a reservoir, soaking up water when it is available and giving it back when roots need it.
