A Weekend of Community on a Global Scale June 13-14 hosted at LBI National Golf & Resort
MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - TelAve -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for an unforgettable World Kick Off Watch Party Weekend, bringing global excitement to the Jersey Shore with two uniquely crafted events on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14. Designed to unite residents, visitors, and local businesses, the weekend blends world‑class soccer with community connection, hospitality, and regional pride hosted by LBI National Golf & Resort in Little Egg Harbor.
Saturday, June 13 — World Class Business Watch Party
The festivities begin Saturday evening at the LBI National Private Event Space, where business leaders and professionals will gather for a World Class Business Watch Party. This exclusive cocktail‑style reception runs from 5:15 to 8:30 p.m., offering a curated menu, signature food stations, and soft beverages included. A cash bar with premium drink options ready to serve.

Guests will enjoy the Group C matchup: Brazil vs. Morocco, broadcast in a private event setting. With dedicated event spaces reserved for the duration, the evening blends networking, hospitality, and the global thrill of World Cup competition.
Sunday, June 14 — Community Watch Party & Youth Soccer Showcase
On Sunday, the excitement shifts to a family‑friendly celebration. Beginning at 3 p.m., the event opens with a Youth Soccer Showcase featuring skills demonstrations, practice tips, and casual scrimmages led by a local nonprofit soccer organization.
At 4 p.m., the community will gather for the Group F match: Netherlands vs. Japan, shown on both an outdoor big‑screen projection and an indoor viewing area. The event follows FIFA Watch Party guidelines and is free and open to the public.
Local businesses and organizations will be onsite showcasing products and services, while the Wickie Room menu will be available for purchase. Contributions will support the Pinelands Soccer Association and South Jersey Elite Barons, reinforcing the commitment to youth development and community enrichment.
