Spring into Sports with Mesa Parks and Recreation Programs

- Adult sports ~ Mesa residents are gearing up for the 2026 spring season as registration for Mesa Parks and Recreation programs and activities is now open. The city of Mesa is offering a wide range of options for people of all ages and abilities to stay active and have fun this spring.
Adults can choose from a variety of sports including pickleball, softball, women's volleyball, and Recess for Adults. This program offers a new sport or game each week to keep things interesting. Youth activities include flag football, beginners ice skating, soccer, gymnastics, and spring break camps. Teens can also get in on the action with options like pickleball, tennis clinics, dodgeball, badminton, and tai chi.
For those with disabilities, Mesa offers adaptive recreation programs such as the Hiking Club, Movie Night, track and field events, Adaptive Bulldog Fitness classes, Friendship Fiesta celebrations, and Decades Dance parties. This season will also feature special events like Love Where You Play Month in February and Celebrate Mesa in April.

Non-residents will have the opportunity to register for these popular activities starting on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 8 a.m. There are four ways to register: online using the Active Net Registration System, via email by sending a completed registration form to ParksRecInfo@MesaAZ.gov , by mail at Mesa Parks and Recreation P.O. Box 1466 Mail Stop 7010 Mesa AZ 8522 , or in-person at the Mesa Parks and Recreation office located at 708 W. Baseline Road. Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Registration forms are available in both English and Spanish for convenience. For any questions or concerns about registration or programs offered by Mesa Parks and Recreation, individuals can call (480) 644-PLAY (7529). Additionally, some Mesa residents may qualify for the MRS Discount, which provides a 50% discount on youth and adaptive programs.
