FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- Stevens Construction has started construction of a 94,440-square-foot expansion and renovation of B&I Contractors, a leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing specialty contractor, announced Mark Stevens, president, Stevens Construction, Inc.

Stevens Construction is providing construction management services for a new 12,000-square-foot metal building that will serve as office space, and a new 37,000-square-foot building that will have 5,775 square feet of office space and 31,225 square feet of manufacturing space.  Steven Construction is also expanding B&I's existing building by 41,440 square feet to serve as manufacturing space, as well as renovating a 4,000-square-foot mezzanine into office space.

The project accommodates B&I's continued growth and investment in the Southwest Florida community. Located at 2701 Prince St. in Fort Myers, the upgraded facilities will support B&I's ongoing commitment to innovation, training and operational excellence as the company continues to expand its statewide footprint.
