The proprietary formulation leaves a non-flammable film just 7 microns thick that will not harden, crack or freeze. It displaces fresh and saltwater moisture, forms an airtight seal against sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and chlorine-based gases, and is inert, neither raising nor lowering contact resistance. Made without sulphates, chlorides, petroleum-based materials or halogens, it meets the EU RoHS directive. Its dual function as corrosion inhibitor and dry lubricant suits close-tolerance assemblies where coating thickness matters.

SuperCORR A was originally developed for the U.S. Air Force and became the industry standard for avionic corrosion prevention among MROs and OEMs. It is approved to MIL-DTL-87177B Type I Grade B, exceeds MIL-C-81309, is listed in the US Tri-Service corrosion manuals and Boeing Part No. 12-371, and has protected the F-16 fighter and the U.S. Navy P-3 Orion. Commercial operators use it on routes involving salt fog exposure and flights over open sea.

For marine corrosion prevention the evidence is equally direct. In a six-month sea spray trial, mild steel panels rusted severely both untreated and when protected with a conventional oil-based corrosion prevention compound, while the section treated with SuperCORR A remained visibly protected, keeping connectors, switches, chains and drive shafts free of corrosion while maintaining lubrication.
