David Chalmers – Philosopher and cognitive scientist, Professor of Philosophy and Neural Science at NYU, co-director of the Center for Mind, Brain and Consciousness. Known for formulating the "hard problem of consciousness" and popularizing the philosophical zombie thought experiment. Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and co-founder of PhilPapers.
