~ In an effort to address the City of Tacoma's projected General Fund structural deficit, City Manager Hyun Kim will present the Roadmap to Recovery during the City Council's Study Session on May 12. This proactive and data-driven strategy aims to tackle the financial challenges faced by the city.

The presentation will outline a phased approach to administrative consolidations, as well as ongoing efforts to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential public services. Additionally, strict cost-containment measures will be implemented, building upon the city's recently upgraded AA+ bond rating.

The City Council's Study Sessions are held every Tuesday at noon in the Tacoma Municipal Building Council Chambers and can also be accessed virtually through Zoom.
