~ Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the appointment of Boyd Bauer as the new Judge of the 156th Judicial District Court in Aransas, Bee, Live Oak, McMullen, and San Patricio Counties. Bauer, a resident of Beeville, brings a wealth of experience to his new role as an attorney and solo practitioner at Boyd W. Bauer, Attorney at Law, P.C. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and has previously held positions such as past president of the Rotary Club of Beeville and member of the Bee County Chamber of Commerce. Bauer's impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law Houston. He will serve in this position until December 31, 2026.
