Texas: Governor Abbott Appoints Long As Judge Of The 170th Judicial District Court In McLellan County

~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Gina Long as the new Judge of the 170th Judicial District Court in McLellan County. Long, a resident of Axtell, brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to her new role.
Currently an associate attorney at Harrison Davis Morrison Jones, P.C., Long also serves as an adjunct professor at Baylor University. She is a member of several prestigious legal organizations including the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association.

In addition to her legal career, Long is actively involved in her community. She serves on the board of the Dr Pepper Museum and is a foster parent with Arrow Child & Family Ministries. She also volunteers with Mission Waco and Isaiah 117 House.
Long's impressive education includes a Bachelor of Arts in General Business Administration (Pre-Law) from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.
Her term as Judge is set to expire on December 31, 2026. With her extensive background and dedication to serving others, Long is sure to make a positive impact in her new role.
