Governor Abbott also mentioned the proactive measures taken by the Texas Legislature to reduce regulatory burdens and eliminate unnecessary rules on small businesses. These actions have contributed to Texas being a national leader in job creation.
The Governor and Administrator Loeffler also discussed Texas' partnership with the White House. They noted that Texas is home to robust industries such as defense, oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, technology, and artificial intelligence. Governor Abbott emphasized that this success is due in part to constitutional amendments that have banned taxes on income, capital gains, securities transactions, inheritance, and more. These measures have put more money into the pockets of hard-working Texans.
Photos from the event will be made available soon. This meeting highlights the strong collaboration between Texas and the federal government in supporting small businesses and promoting economic growth in the state.
