Texas: Governor Abbott Reappoints Brown As Presiding Judge Of The Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region

~ Houston, TX - Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Susan Brown as Presiding Judge of the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region. Brown, a former Judge of the 185th Judicial District Court in Harris County, has been serving in this role since March 2018.

As a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association, Brown brings a wealth of legal experience to her position. She has also served as chair of the Bench Bar Committee and commissioner on the Texas Children's Commission, where she currently chairs the Data Committee. In addition, she is the president of the Texas Association of Retired, Senior, and Former Judges and a member of the Curriculum Committee for the Texas Center for the Judiciary.

Outside of her legal career, Brown is one of the founders and board members of Houston Pearls Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.

Governor Abbott's reappointment ensures that Brown will continue to serve as Presiding Judge for another four years from her date of qualification. Her dedication to justice and commitment to serving her community make her a valuable asset to the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region.
