~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Frank Parker, Jr. as the presiding officer of the Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority. This term is set to expire on February 1, 2028.

Parker, a resident of Brownsville, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as vice president of Scarbrough Global and owner of Extex Investment Company. He is also actively involved in various organizations such as the South Texas Manufacturers Association, National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America Transportation Committee, and the Rotary Club of North Brownsville.

Parker's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. With his extensive knowledge and dedication to serving his community, Parker is well-equipped to continue leading the Regional Mobility Authority in partnership with the state to deliver transportation infrastructure projects for Cameron County.
