Texas: Governor Abbott Reappoints Wilson To The Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority

~ El Paso, TX- Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Joyce Wilson to the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority (RMA) for a term that will expire on February 1, 2027. The RMA is a political subdivision that works in collaboration with local transportation planning and project delivery leaders to deliver transportation infrastructure projects for the El Paso region.

Wilson, a resident of El Paso, brings a wealth of experience to the RMA. She previously served as the CEO of Workforce Solutions Borderplex, a regional workforce development entity under the Texas Workforce Commission. Additionally, she was the first city manager of El Paso from 2004 to 2014. Wilson is also a member of the board of ReadyOne Industries and a fellow with the National Academy of Public Administration.

This is not Wilson's first time serving on the RMA board. In 2019, Governor Abbott initially appointed her to this position. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.
