PALMYRA, N.J. - TelAve -- Faith is more than simply believing in God when everything is going well; faith is trusting Him when life does not make sense. The Bible says in Romans 12:3 that God has given every person "the measure of faith." So why do we sometimes struggle to believe? Yet 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us that "we walk by faith, not by sight." Faith allows us to look beyond today's circumstances and believe that tomorrow can be different. Romans 12:2 teaches us about being transformed by the renewing of our minds, and that transformation begins when we choose to trust God instead of allowing fear and negativity to control our thoughts.
