WASHINGTON - TelAve -- Just in time for the coming holiday, the law professor who persuaded Santa to quit smoking

- as in "The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath" -
shares a version of that famous poem/story "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as if it had been written by a lawyer and not by Clement Clarke Moore.
In other words, it's written entirely in legalese as a spoof on how some lawyers write, says public interest law professor John Banzhaf.
