LONDON - TelAve -- V U This (vuthis.com) today announced the public launch of a web service that lets anyone put content on a TV, projector or meeting-room screen directly from their phone, without installing an app, finding a cable, or mirroring their whole phone to the room.

The process takes seconds. The screen's browser opens vuthis.com and shows a QR code. A phone scans the code and becomes the remote. From the phone, the user chooses what the screen shows: photos and slideshows, PDF documents with page controls, large text, announcements, clocks in any time zone, countdown, count-up or count-to timers, live tally counters, and QR codes for guest Wi-Fi or a link. Only the chosen content appears; notifications and other tabs stay on the phone.

Because it runs entirely in the browser, V U This works on smart TVs, laptops connected to projectors, Raspberry Pi displays and existing digital-signage players, with nothing to install on the display or the phone. When a session ends, the screen returns to its connection code, ready for the next person.

A free session requires no account and runs for 60 minutes with up to 20 photos and one PDF. Passes from $5.99 for 24 hours to $299.99 for a year add unlimited sessions, multiple screens, 250 MB of storage, queueing for automatic playlists, image announcements and additional colour palettes.
