CANARY WHARF, England - TelAve -- TESCO supermarket giant employs around 300,000 people and is one of the largest private sector employers in the country. In August 2019 announcements were made that changes to mainly TESCO metro and express stores would mean 4500 people would be at risk of losing their jobs. "As a business, you have three main concerns, your staff, your customers and your profit, they are all connected, no profit means you cannot pay staff, with no staff you cannot serve customers and with no customers you cannot make profit and so need no staff, it's a tricky balance, and TESCO would not have made this decision lightly" explained Hicham Mouden, Sales Ambassadors Canary Wharf CEO.

TESCO had to ensure that their stores are operating efficiently and that customers are getting the best service as possible, but the cuts are another blow to the UK employment industry, as TESCO are just one in a list of businesses that have made serious cuts this year. However amongst all the cuts, there are companies out there that are recruiting, and growing fast.
