TelAve News/10598653
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - TelAve -- The Dirty Buffalo, the award-winning Norfolk restaurant, has announced the grand opening date of its third full-service location in as many years. On Wednesday, October 30th at 5 PM the 2019 Small Business of the Year Award Winner will be opening the doors of its new Virginia Beach location, located on in the Princess Anne Marketplace at 2080 South Independence Blvd.
Owned & operated by Western New York transplants, Russell & Stephanie Gilbert, The Dirty Buffalo specializes in so-called "Northern Comfort Food" such as authentic New York style chicken wings, but as the restaurant's tagline states, it is "More Than Just a Wing Joint". In addition to 32+ wing sauces & dry rubs, the restaurant services a variety of sandwiches and subs, macaroni bowls, salads and "Dirty Plates" - a spin on another popular staple dish in Western New York. The Dirty Buffalo's most popular dish (besides wings of course) is the signature Dirty Chick plate. The dish consists of crispy home-fried potatoes, creamy Mac 'n Cheese & chicken tenders tossed in the guests choice of sauce or rub all piled on top of each other like Thanksgiving dinner. The Dirty Chick was featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives in 2017.
