ST. LOUIS - TelAve -- The St. Louis Jewish Community Center (the J) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of J'la, its annual fundraising gala, on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at The Factory in Chesterfield.

This year's event will honor the Koritz-Lefton families. For more than six decades, their family has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the J and the St. Louis community through leadership, generosity, and service.

Some families leave a legacy. The Koritz-Lefton families live it.

What began with one generation more than 60 years ago has grown into a remarkable, multigenerational commitment to the community.

Across three generations, members of the Koritz-Lefton families have served the J as board chairs, board members, campaign leaders, volunteers, and staff. Their philanthropy has supported the reimagining of our Marilyn Fox location in Chesterfield, founded campaigns such as the Camp Sabra Alumni Canteen Fund, and funded many programs and scholarships at the J. Their involvement has helped nurture traditions, build meaningful relationships, and create opportunities for generations to come.

J'la celebrates both where the family's story began and the younger generations who continue to carry that legacy forward. Their enduring commitment reflects what makes the J special: a place where lives are enriched, lifelong connections are formed, and cherished memories are made.

The 10th annual J'la will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and conversation. Curated culinary stations will open at 6 p.m., followed by entertainment and the evening's program at 7 p.m.

The event will take place at The Factory, 17105 North Outer 40 Road in Chesterfield. Guests are encouraged to embrace the evening's "Cocktail Vibes: Sleek & Chic" attire.

General admission tickets are $250. Young adult tickets for guests under 40 are available for $150.

ABOUT J'LA
J'la is the J's largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds directly support vital programs and services throughout the organization.

Funds raised help sustain programs including the J's Early Childhood Center, youth camps, Meals on Wheels, Adult Day at the J, and cultural arts. The event also provides financial assistance that allows hundreds of local families to participate in J programs and services.

More than 540 people attended J'la last year, demonstrating the community's strong commitment to the J and the people it serves.
