Together We Dance Foundation Steps Up for Family in Need of Safe Transportation
TelAve News/10896114
LEVITTOWN, Pa. - TelAve -- The Together We Dance Foundation is rallying around a Bucks County family in hopes of helping them purchase a wheelchair accessible van for their daughter, Deveneigh Bracero.
Shyanne and Rick Bracero, parents of three children with Autism, are facing growing transportation challenges as Deveneigh transitions from a manual wheelchair to a power wheelchair weighing more than 400 pounds. The new wheelchair is essential for her independence and comfort, but the family's current vehicle cannot safely accommodate it.
As a result, even simple daily activities have become extremely difficult. Trips to doctor appointments, school, errands, and family outings now require significant physical effort and planning. The family is limited in where they can go, often having to carry Deveneigh or rely on exhausting alternatives.
A wheelchair accessible van would dramatically improve daily life for the Bracero family by allowing Deveneigh's power wheelchair to travel safely wherever they go. It would provide greater comfort, accessibility, and independence while helping the family continue to enjoy activities together as a family of five.

The Foundation has seen firsthand the joy the Bracero family experiences at the foundation's inclusive events and programs. Wanting to make a meaningful difference, the organization has launched a donation campaign to directly support the family's efforts to purchase a wheelchair accessible van.
"We believe every family deserves the opportunity to experience life together without accessibility becoming a barrier," said Mike Barnes, Executive Director of The Foundation. "We have watched Deveneigh and her family enjoy our events and community experiences, and we want to help ensure they can continue making those memories together."
Wheelchair accessible vans are often extremely expensive, making them difficult for many families to afford without community support. The Foundation is encouraging local businesses, families, and community members throughout Bucks County to come together to help the Bracero family during this important time. Every donation made through the campaign goes directly toward helping the family secure safe and reliable transportation for Deveneigh and their family.
