The prestigious EC-Council 2023 Academia Circle of Excellence Award has been awarded to the university for the fifth consecutive year, highlighting its commitment to producing work-ready graduates and making a positive impact in the cybersecurity workforce.
The EC-Council Academia division awards recognize academic institutions and faculty across North America and around the world that excel in providing cybersecurity education and have a lasting impact on their students and local communities. The University of Phoenix's College of Business and Information Technology offers degree programs and certificates that focus on the intersection of technology and business, with a particular emphasis on cybersecurity. The university works closely with labor market researchers and expert faculty to identify key skills sought by employers and incorporate them into their curriculum. Currently, all programs within the College of Business and Information Technology are mapped to these skills.
