YardTixx and Kentucky State University National Alumni Association Announce Ticketing Partnership
TelAve News/10906424
Partnership brings an HBCU-built event ticketing platform to KSUNAA's national network of chapters, giving alumni chapters lower fixed fees and faster payouts for homecoming and Founders Day events — and creating an instant scholarship for KSU students through YardTixx's built-in fundraising component.
INDIANAPOLIS - TelAve -- YardTixx, an event ticketing platform built for HBCU campuses, Divine Nine organizations, and Black professional and alumni networks, today announced a partnership with the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association (KSUNAA). Under the partnership, YardTixx becomes a preferred ticketing platform for KSUNAA and its local chapters, supporting ticketed events such as Homecoming, Founders Day, scholarship galas, and chapter meetings.
The partnership carries personal significance for YardTixx's founders. Co-founders Sean A. Stevenson Sr. and William Rogers Jr. are both Kentucky State University alumni, as well as members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Majestic Psi Psi Chapter; Stevenson is a former Thorobreds wide receiver, a member of the KSU Athletic Hall of Fame, and he helped establish The Majestic Foundation Inc., which supports KSU students through financial assistance and mentorship.

"This one is personal," said Sean A. Stevenson Sr., co-founder of YardTixx. "William and I built YardTixx because campuses and alumni networks like ours were paying too much just to sell a ticket to their own event. Bringing that platform back to KSU, through KSUNAA, closes a circle for both of us."
"YardTixx was built with alumni associations in mind," said William Rogers Jr., co-founder of YardTixx. "Every university alumni association has chapters hosting homecomings, reunions, scholarship events, fundraisers, and networking experiences. YardTixx gives them a simpler, more affordable way to manage ticketed events, get paid faster, and keep more resources within their organizations."
Through the partnership, KSUNAA chapters gain access to YardTixx's lower fixed-fee pricing, 48-hour payouts, and offline check-in for venues with unreliable signal — designed around the kinds of events alumni chapters actually run. YardTixx and KSUNAA are also establishing a revenue-share arrangement that directs a portion of ticket revenue from KSUNAA-affiliated events back to the association through their franchised-style alumni chapter setup.
"KSUNAA is excited and honored to work with YardTixx on this groundbreaking endeavor, not only for our university, but alumni networks nationwide," said Barry C. Johnson, KSUNAA President. YardTixx will provide dedicated onboarding support to help chapter treasurers and financial secretaries set up their first events on the platform, with a national rollout to KSUNAA chapters beginning October 2026.
