2026 HFM CME Symposium - Overcoming Challenges in Transthyretin Cardiac Amyloidosis
TelAve News/10900122
This CME Symposium takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 12:30 - 1:30 PM ET during the 2026 Heart Failure Management Conference in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
HAZLET, N.J. - TelAve -- Historically, ATTR-CM was considered a rare disease; however, it is now recognized as a more common cause of heart failure (HF) than previously thought. Despite recent attention to ATTR-CM, the condition is significantly underdiagnosed. Timely diagnosis is crucial, as it has the potential to reduce mortality and HF hospitalization when treated with targeted therapies. In this symposium, ATTRCM experts (symposium chair Dr. Mathew Maurer, faculty members Dr. Jan Griffin and Dr. Frederick Ruberg), will provide attendees with best practices for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with ATTR-CM.
