MOBILE, Ala. - TelAve -- Aaron Frye Named North–South Alabama All-Star Game MVP After Five-Touchdown Performance
Mobile, Ala. — December 2025 — Aaron Frye, the standout senior quarterback from Clay-Chalkville High School, was named Most Valuable Player of the North–South Alabama All-Star Game after delivering a dominant all-around performance that capped a historic high school career.
Frye accounted for five total touchdowns in the All-Star showcase. He completed 11 of 18 passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns, including a long completion of 75 yards, and added 93 rushing yards on 23 carries with three rushing touchdowns. His ability to control the game both through the air and on the ground earned him MVP honors among the state's top graduating seniors.
The All-Star MVP recognition follows an extraordinary postseason run for Frye, who led Clay-Chalkville to the AHSAA Class 6A State Championship, completing a perfect 15–0 season, and was also named MVP of the 6A State Championship Game. His championship performance included over 300 yards of offense and five total touchdowns against Saraland.

Throughout his senior season, Frye emerged as one of Alabama's most complete quarterbacks, finishing with more than 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards, while earning multiple Player of the Week honors and being named AHSAA Birmingham Area Athlete of the Week.
Frye recently signed with Alabama State University, where he will continue his academic and athletic career. His development has been supported by a strong family foundation. His father served as a de facto coach, spending countless hours watching film and preparing him for competition, while his mother remained a constant presence—working concessions, parking, pregame meals, and supporting the program in numerous ways throughout his journey.
With MVP honors in both the 6A State Championship Game and the North–South Alabama All-Star Game, Frye closes his high school career as one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in Clay-Chalkville history and one of Alabama's premier senior athletes.
